| Description: | From Sidewalk Arts Festival Website: The Sidewalk Arts Festival is the Sioux Falls region's largest one-day outdoor festival. Held each year in historic downtown Sioux Falls, the festival is situated along the streets surrounding the Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science, including Main Avenue, Dakota Avenue, and 11th Street. The festival draws thousands of visitors and showcases over 225 fine art, folk art, and craft booths from more than 10 states.
The Sidewalk Arts Festival is the largest annual fundraiser for the Visual Arts Center at the Washington Pavilion, the region's premier cultural, educational and entertainment facility. The mission of the Washington Pavilion is to educate, entertain, inspire and to enrich community by making arts and science part of our lives.
Annually, the festival is held the first Saturday after Labor Day:
