Thursday nights at Main Street Square return with a new twist in 2018. Thursdays on the Square is a weekly, summer entertainment series featuring a robust lineup, family-friendly activities, and a vibrant crowd. Meet in the heart of the city on the lawn at Main Street Square to enjoy Downtown Rapid City's premier outdoor entertainment series from 6 to 9 p.m., on Thursdays, from May 31 to Aug. 30. Grab a bite to eat from one of our delicious food vendors and cool off with an assortment of refreshments in the Bud Light Beverage Garden.

Find something fun for everyone in the Regional Health and Scull Construction Kidz Zone encompassing Sixth St., with inflatables, the Main Street Square Fun Express train, face painting, games, and more.

Enjoy two different genres of entertainment every week in Downtown Rapid City, one on the Main Street Square stage at Sixth and Main St., and the other on the Summer Nights stage at Seventh and St. Joseph St.

2018 Schedule
Thursday, May 31*
Splash into summer with a celebration of the Main Street Square fountains on the opening Thursday of the series. The fountains will officially open on Thursday, May 24.

Thursday, June 7*
Black Hills Top Talent, a talent show held in partnership with HomeSlice Media Group, will bring out the best in local talent. Winners of the talent show will have the chance to open for Kory and the Fireflies on Thursday, June 14, or 80's Station on Thursday, July 19.

Thursday, June 14*
Jam out to Kory and the Fireflies, pop-rock with a punch. The nationally-renowned, Sioux Falls band sing original tunes along with your favorite pop rock covers.

The battle of the ivories returns to the Main Street Square stage, with 176 Keys Dueling Pianos' all-ages show, The Fun Pianos.

80's Station brings the Freemont Street experience to Downtown Rapid City. Las Vegas's finest 1980s tribute band will keep you dancing with new wave, old school hip-hop, and rock covers.

Dogs Without Sweaters is celebrating 28 years as a band at Main Street Square by giving away 28 CDs and performing crowd favorite rock and pop covers, including "Sweet Caroline" and "Mony Mony."

Honoring our Patriots Night
Celebrate our local heroes during Honoring Our Patriots Night, where The Georgia Satellites, best known for crashing into the southern rock scene with 1986 hit "Keep Your Hands to Yourself," will take the stage.
