The 36th Anniversary of Yankton Riverboat Days will be held August 16th-18th. The theme for this years Riverboat Days is "Yankton...There's No Place Like Home!"
The Summer Arts Festival is the premiere, three-day arts event of the region held in conjunction with the annual Yankton Riverboat Days Celebration. The festival is held in picturesque Riverside Park which borders the mighty Missouri River. Held annually on the third full weekend in August under the coordination of Yankton Area Arts, the juried show features over 120 fine artists and fine craftsmen from around the country. Each year an estimated 100,000 people attend this community celebration.
