Description: | From Holiday Celebration & Winter Market Website: Get ready to jingle bell rock around Main Street Square as we usher in the holiday season with the Holiday Celebration and Winter Market, from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30. The Holiday Celebration and Winter Market are free and open to all ages.
The Main Street Square ice skating rink opens at 11 a.m. At 2 p.m., Santa will make his grand entrance, escorted by the Rapid City Fire Department. Children will have the opportunity to meet Santa, snap a photo or two with him, and tell him their wishes from 2 to 5 p.m. Parents are encouraged to bring their own cameras for the photo opportunity, as a professional photographer will not be provided.
Shop the Winter Market from 2 to 6 p.m., which hosts a collection of local vendors where you are sure to find that perfect gift. Browse booths showcasing handcrafted goods.
Enjoy the sounds of the season at a holiday concert.
Small Business Saturday coincides with the Holiday Celebration on Saturday, Nov. 30, encouraging community members to shop small and shop local in Downtown Rapid City. The Downtown Business Group will have a booth at Main Street Square during the Winter Market where patrons will be offered free coffee and hot chocolate, Small Business Saturday reusable totes, a guide to Small Business Saturday specials at participating businesses and a chance to win a Downtown Rapid City Gift Card (purchase from local, downtown business required).
The 22nd Annual Festival of Lights Parade begins at 6 p.m. and travels down Main St., next to the Square.
The Holiday Celebration & Winter Market is free and is held in conjunction with Small Business Saturday and the Festival of Lights Parade.
